Hows your rulebook holding out?

I've noticed that mine has started to deteriate now. I know it gets a lot of use but the plastic film on the cover has started to peel which I've not known in a book before.

I'm very hard on my rulebooks. I leave them on the floor occassionally standing on them lol
My WAW book is in good shape so far (even with rough handling).

The plastic is peeling a little on mine as well, even though I am careful. I do reference it alot, so it is well read.

I'm more concerned with the spine crease... I wonder if pages will come out?

Are you that short of stature that you need a boost to the gaming table? :D

No, my room is a total mess with hobby stuff. I haven't got free table space.
Why don't i put it on a bookshelf?
Cause i have to move the boxes of hobby stuff outta the way to reach them

I know the feeling, although I've just put up seven Ikea bookcases to store the most important part of my book and rule archive and my new wargames room has a loft into which the terrain and models will (hopefully) soon be moving.

My rule book is coping quite well with the use its getting. I'm pleased.

Is it possible to get a replacement to keep as new and keep the old one for use? What we need is a rulebook with the old BFE cover and the binding of the new.

One advantage of the PDF version, when it wears out just print out another. Mine usually get comb bound which is fairly handy as they will lie open but they are hard to shelve so the thinner ones at least may go into magazine files though these are a little too tall to fit comfortably onto my shelving so some fiddling may be in order.

I wonder when the new version of BF:E is out in PDF format?

True - Not wanting to wait for the PDF version - I took my hard copy to kinkos and had them cut off the spine and coil bind it between clear plastic covers -

very very handy at the table - not as pretty on the bookshelf but certainly worth the 5 bucks
