How to get it started

I'm choosing to restart a campaign that I put on hold a year back and want some advise

To get more fun out of it I decided to let the characters do the part of Demons Eye where they do a deal to get Tech-World to join Drinax and it did, but foolishly decided not to do the 2nd bit where the characters pursue Doctor Jali Astor across the sector and beyond. How would you suggest I get the 2nd part started?

First, ask the players if they're up for restarting the campaign.

Second, ask the players if they're up for restarting the campaign.

Third, keep in mind that this forum can be of roughly zero help for such questions, and it is your players' opinions that matter here.

If the players are good for just picking up wherever you left off, do it. If that can come with a request from Tech-World to pursue the doctor, then do that.

The only "how" that you are missing is to ask your players, and/or to get them on board with it after pausing for a year.
