How many RQ settings are we getting from Mongoose?

Thank you for that.

Perhaps if I pose my question more specifically. What other settings will Mongoose be producing?

I think there is something scheduled about an historical version of Arthur based on the Cornwell books.

Where did you see this? I hope this is the case.

Glorantha
Lhankmar
Hawkmoon
Elric
Corum
Hyborian Age (Conan)
Pirates
King Arthur (NOT Pendragon-like)
And wasn´t there mentioned somewhere Ninjas or so???

Also remember that there will be third party publishers will be putting out their own settings as well.

This is a project Matt told about before Mongoose Runequest was released. You can find some threads/posts with a search.

Not trying to derail the thread but this is somewhat related. All of those settings mentioned sound great, although Slaine is new to me so I'll have to check that one out. Just curious if anyone has ever tried to convert other fantasy literature settings to rpg's such as Wagner's Kane series, or Cynosure, or some of Howard's lesser known works like Cormac Mac Art (or was that pretty much fantasy europe for RQ3)? All would seem good fits and new territory for MRQ IMO, but I'm admittedly biased. Don't get me wrong, I will definitely scoop up MRQ Elric as soon as it hits the shelves but there have been so many versions of MM's work in rpg form already I'm worried that this one may get lost in the crowd.

As a side note, I also like Malazan but I hear Ericksen was a GURPS fan or something so that probably wouldn't work....it would be wicked cool though.

Is anyone here familiar with Aquelarre, the Spanish rpg? Medieval Spain, with a fairly historic take, but with monsters from folklore, demons, and magic that can cost you your soul. The magic system is very flavorful, wing of bat kinda stuff. It seems like it would make a great setting for MRQ. And the rules are pretty close to RQ, so it should be a pretty easy conversion.
