How do you enter from Hyperspace in battle?

Captain_Nemo

Mongoose
Could someone please help with this, I am confused about "Forward Arc" and how much the arc, is where it faces and What restrictions there are coming out of the cone.

Thank you.

Take a look at the jump point and jump gate counters in the back of the rulebook. Forward arc is between the two lines, ie a 90 degree arc.

Ah! Sweet!

I didn't see those there Thank you, Greg.
Is there a minimum distance that you need to travel?
A fellow player says that fighters coming out of the jump point can go anywhere up to the speed of the fighter flight because fighters are
Super Maneuverable. I think that they should travel at least 2 to 4 inches because Jump Points are vortices.
Can they just go up to max speed from the Jump Point?

There is no restriction on movement distance - so for ships at least 1/2 of their regular movement, as usual; no restriction for fighters.

Are you positive about the fighters ? I thought since fighters are (usually) regarded as ships now they would have the same movement/firing penalties for Jumping as other ships using another ship's Jump Point.

The question was about restriction on movement distance. However you are correct, fighters should follow the same restictions, ie no turns and no firing unless there is a scout.

They should be able to turn though. Only the ship creating the jump point is unable to turn.

I wasn't clear earlier. I was really commenting on the original post which seemed to imply that they weren't using any of the other restrictions that jumping fighters have.
