How do you enjoy Traveller ?

Last night it dawned on me that I could use Traveller's ship design rules to create ships just for artwork that I post on my blogs/galleries. That way, my ship concept makes more sense. And when asked details about them I'll have all the specs for it listed.

In the past, I'd draw a ship and then figure out later what the inside looked like and how everything fit in it.

To be honest by playing and/or running the game, the whiney readers, collectors and other related canon-istas can be and are a big drag....

I just ignore them, or laugh; 30 years of playing/Gming will do that to you. It is often handy having people around that are like living indexes though.

I have 5 players and they seem to like it, and so do I.

My big problem as a Game Mistress is that it is hard for me to see the small picture in the Third Imperium at Times. Mongoose (like GDW/DPG) are very good at showing the immense size of the Imperium with their sector books, sector fleet and the upcomming trillion credit sqaudron. No harm in that. But I would like to see more books that caters to the small adventure group. Like a Book about Travellers Aid Society and what they do. Books about being a small group/lone traveller in the Imperium.

That is what I would need.

If the upcoming minor alien module is what I think it is, you may find it to your tastes. They are very much low key and small scale and while infuriating, great fun to play.

So you're thinking Bwaps? That would make sense....

Things don't always make sense.

I hope so. I love the Alien Books this far and they have a honor place on my shelf. Mongoose has really succeeded with those! I also like the sector books and the Crowded hours adventure book.

But more books that a player group can use/be used with a small player group is sorely wanted. As well as a class book for Scholars & Medics :)

I hope that the Droyne book will come out before Christmas, it would be a wonderful gift from my BF to me :)
