I have recreated the Combat Results Table using weapon damage and 2d6 vice the 1d10 or Random Number Table. I still us the same Combat Ratio though. I use H for Hero instead of LW for Lone Wolf and I use E for enemy. I do not have K for killed. Monsters and Heroes have endurance points, you want them dead then overcome their endurance.

I do not agree that all weapons do the same damage. Yes dead is dead whether you chop a head off with a broad sword, stab someone in the heart with a dagger, or cut a person's throat with a knife. But a broad sword generally does more damage than a dagger.
