There has also been speculation that it will no longer be OGL. Which is probably why Mongoose are putting their efforts into RQ and RQ based games.

That would be one way to completely screw over a lot of small companies using OGL systems for their products.

Would wizards do it? Possibly.

as if its under a different license would it not be the first Ed of that licence?

So technically they making a all new game hoping the dnd fan base will follow.

Well I like 3rd ed and will not be intertaining 4th same as with Shadowrun I still play 3rd ed as oppossed to 4th.

there is a point where these componies must learn to stop exploiting its fan base

(to my expereience Mongoose is about the fans which is cool.)

Actually, I still use 3.0. The only .5 that sneaks in are in newer products that I've purchased. (I also use Shadowrun 2ed and WEG Star Wars). What a Luddite!

the real question is when the breakpoint comes, where redoing everything will sell more than just making more books for the current version.

Thats when the new edition will come out.
