Hits/3 Light Trucks?

I realize that the low armor on these makes up for this to some extent, but when a transport softskin has more hits than a tank, I have to ask about rationale.

In a way you answered your own question: low armour...
I presume you are talking about the "default" Truck in the WaW rulebook?
That was a "catch all" design, in my Vehicle Compendiums and the Pacific War book their i a difference between Light, Medium and Heavy trucks.

Yeah, you can kill a Hits/3 truck in one round with a fire team's worth of small arms. Just try doing that to a Hits/3 tank
