High Guard Skills from Rank

Hi All,
if you have a character that is an O2 Pilot, that transfers to say Support,
do they get Admin 1 and Computers 1, as these are skills associated with O1 and O2 in the Support career?

It's up to you, the rules seem very vague on that issue.

Personally, I DO NOT give them all the rank skills retroactively, but that is just me.

I interpret the rule to mean that you get that skill because that is what you learn just doing the job. If a character wasn't there to do that job, they should not get that skill. Again, YMMV.

Alternately, you could give them those skills as Level 0, so they at least get some level of competence in their new area.

Thanks good advice, I was to between the extremes, giving them at Level 0 might be the right compromise
