Hey everyone at Mongoose and the Gaming community. I'm not one to complain to much. I love this game, I've been playing since it was first released. However, I have purchased my books (Conan 2ed. and RTTROK) on the first week of January and the pages are already coming off of the binding. Is this what I am to expect from future Mongoose products? I also play Elric and Hawkmoon. My Hawkmoon rule book is also doing the same thing.
Is this happening to other players?
Is there a way to fix this problem, ie. return books to manufacture?
Just be unhappy and cautious on buying future books from mongoose?
Mongoose is a great gaming company with great classic game play. They have something great to offer the gaming community. I have been playing RPG's for 21 years. I don't recall any that did not have any errata in them from grammer to rules corrections. I have never had books just come apart at the binding before (except a starwar empire sourcebook from west end games). That was over 10 years ago.
Whats going on?
Cutting Cost?
I don't mind the black and white pages. I like it black and white. I just want to keep my pages together and not have to take it to my local Office Max and have a spiral binder installed on my book that I already paid 35-40 dollars for.
O.K. I think I'm done with my rant. Come on guys, you're doing an awesome job with the RPG hobby lets not blow it on quality.
