I could just be imagining this, but I'm pretty sure I remember reading a feat for Kushites who fought with spears and shields. I think I recall it allowing them to make trip attacks or something with their shields or giving them some other kind of bonus. I've looked around pretty thoroughly for it and haven't been able to find it in any of my books, and I've looked through a couple of feat compilation lists and haven't found anything there, either.
