help for new brakiri/EA purchases

I have been playing brakiri for some time and have just started a third age EA fleet. I was looking for some advice on additional purchases before production stops.

Here is what I have.

Brakiri

1x Corumai
2x Tashkat
4x Avioki
1x Brokados
2x Halik
2x Shakara
6x Ikortla
12x riva flights
16x pikatos flights
18x falkosi flights

EA third Age

1x Warlock
3x Omega
1x Nova
2x Hyperion
1x Avenger
1x Explorer
4x Hermes
4x Olympus
12x flights of aurora SF
8x flights of thunderbolts

Any help with filling out my fleets would be helpful.

looking at the Brakiri fleet, you have most things!
would advise a kabrokta, nice model design, if a bit lacking in detail, but also offers a different option to the Avioki/Kaliva. Boresight yes, but good firepower and that boresight fires every single round. A Cidikar would be good as well, you have those fighters, give them a home! only really useable in big games, it's a pretty good ship

The only things I can really think of for the EA:TA fleet is an Oracle or two, more fighters, and maybe an extra Nova and/or Hyperion.

For the EA, drop another Nova in there and maybe a second Avenger. Grab a couple of Artemis and consider some more Hyperions. Make sure you've got enough fighters for all your ships and consider some Badgers, they're a decent bomber and as good in dogfights as Auroras.

How well does that Brakiri fleet play?

Mostly interested in ACTA(battle it out+VP right?) scenarios.

Thanks for the ideas so far. I'm not too concerned about the number of EA fighters that I have as my group doesn't mind playing with fighter counters.

How good are fighter heavy fleets? I was considering playing the following brakiri fleet at 5 point raid:

1x Brokados
6x brikortla
12 flights of Rivas

That would give me 32 flights of pikatos/falkosi. Would this fleet work? If so, what would be a good mix of falkosis and pikatos?

That list could work well against a fleet similiar to my Centauri...I am usually getting hammered a bit by EA fighters.

Although against a fleet like Vree or such u just might be in trouble.

My main opponents are vree, ISA, minbari, Narn, and EA.

hmm, you face 4 of ther better fleets against fighters.
any of those fleets, with well selected ships, will defeat you I am afraid. of course if they choose badly, you may well trounce them. problem is your all fighter fleet isn't versatile enough to use a different tactic in case you come up against for example, 5 G'Kariths. . .

For the Brakiri I would get at 2-4 more Haliks, they are good at Raid Level as a Haltona and you could always use them as the anti-fighter escort as the Halik. 1 Cidikar, 1 more Brokados, and 1 Kabrokta.
