Hello

MrYellow

Mongoose
Hi, I am new to these forums, having just started playing A call to arms. Several of my friends I believe haunt these pages! (Charles, Greg, Simon and others ;) ).

I was wondering if anyone can help me? I have purchased a second hand Earth Alliance Fleet which has no bases. I was recommended Ninja Magic for the Magnetic adaptors, but I am really looking for a UK supplier...

So, can anyone point me towards a shop that does the bases / stands and the magnetic adaptors (or an equivalent).

Thanks in advance

Lee

Hey Lee - I have some spare bases and stands - I'll dig some out for golf on Sunday....... Ninja Magic I think is only US - sadly..........but would love to hear if anyone else has info on a UK supplier.

Charles

Thanks TGT, those bases look nice. With the ninja magic ones, you dont get the bases, so... :)

My personal experience of the GZG stands is the metal ones do at a pinch but often take quite a bit of remedial work to fit the stand to the base, sometimes too small in diameter and sometimes too large. Former being worse than latter.

Their plastic ones are ok, if you like that humped up style. Must admit I don't and so I tend to buy Gw flight stands these days. An easy if not quite so cheap option, certainly better than importing tho.

Matt said at one point, tail end of last year that Mongoose flight stands were still availabe and to PM him.

Might be differnt now but I guess worth a shot.

Ground Zero Games appear to have some stands, and are UK based. Alternatively you could probably use stands for Games Workshop's Battlefleet Gothic ships.

You're in Kettering? If you have not already done so, look at the thread ACTA Tournament -Saturday 20th Feb 2010. The venue is Boughton House, practically on your doorstep! :)

It was Charles and greg, the event organisers that got me into this game ;) but thankyou! Unfortunately, I doubt I can make it, but may pop in to say hi!
