Since we seem to be keeping abreast of the lattest developments in the prepainted world tese are the latest pics from Ilyad for their up coming game (Which I believe is prepainted, based on the fact that they come with cards and stat and um... I think I heard they were prepainted ones plus I showed someone and they thought so too...)

Gorgeouse! I'm liking it, its based at the time of a war between spanish conquistadors and the Saracen, battling to colonise hell itself for some reason... :D
 
Will those be around the same quality as the Evo line I wonder. What will these cost, anyone know?

A lot. £5 a fig probs. Ilyad are nice but soooo expensive.

I don't understand whats with the explosion of pre-painted models, why has every on jumped on the bandwagon?
 
Its because the chinese factories they're moving production are now geared to offer it, it adds very little to the production costs, whilst significantly increasing the value added on a finished model, and as you've already notticed, every body else is doing it.
