Annatar Giftbringer
Emperor Mongoose
(Reposting from 2000AD subforum, but with more questions)
Greetings,
I have a few questions for the Dredd RPG:
1) Heat-seekers. How do people treat them? Always hit on 6+ instead of 8+? Or is this only when firing blind? Even go so far as to let them auto-hit (unless target managed to dodge) or treat them as homing missiles, i.e. massive bonus (+4 or somëthing) to his while aiming?
2) Gun Combat Categories. As far as I can tell, in Dredd there are no sub-categories for Energy Weapons (pistol/rifle) or Heavy weapons, is this correct?
3) When Driving the Lawmaster and attacking, the rulebook makes it clear how to deal with the built-in weapons (-2) but would this be the same penalty if a player wishes to use their Lawgiver while mounted, since they're both driving and using a weapon? And in both cases, they wouldn't get their minor action, since it's needed to control the vehicle?
4) Speaking of bikes (or any vehicle for that matter) would it be possible to get aim bonus while travelling at high speed, dodging vehicles, zooming along the meg-ways? since neither the target or firer are keeping still? Perhaps this one solves itself, if the driver has to spend one action controlling the vehicle at all times, there's no way to aim and fire due to lack of actions.... Unless of course they aim twice during round 1 and then fire during round 2....
