Grey Star amd Mongoose

Id like to know if there are any plans yet for a publishing of Grey Star

I really think this should be undertaken. You really need the Grey Star books to go along with the Lone Wolf. And, I would like to see a new adventure where there is one story which can be played through as either Lone Wolf or Grey Star - whichever character you play, you will have interactions with the other throughout the book, and both characters end up being instrumental to success in the mission. I think this would be a fun twist.*

* Only issue with this idea - can't remember if Lone Wolf and Grey Star exist/live during the same time frame? Would doing this be a timeline continuity violation?

I believe it has been mentioned that Grey Star will return in the last Lone Wolf books (29-32).

Grey Star and Lone Wolf live in roughly the same time.

I don't think a choice between character would work all that well in a book. Grey Star and Lone Wolf are just to dissimilar in what they can do.

Grey Star and Lone Wolf live in the same time period, at least according to the timeline in the Magnamund Companion.

I too would like to see the deluxe treatment for the World of Lone Wolf/Grey Star adventures, but my understanding is that Ian Page dropped off the face of the earth a while back. I remember people trying to track him down and failing. The rights issue would be a problem, I think, if he can't be located.

Actually, I think that is exactly what would make the story more interesting. Because of their different skills, they would each tackle a task a little differently. Meaning that both characters could essentially travel through the same overall plot arch by visiting (mostly) different locations, tackling different tasks and enemies, etc. while ultimately achieving the same goal and crossing paths with each other periodically.

Oh, I know what you mean: kinda like Captain D'Val's adventure in book 4 in which you see the same events but from the point of view of a secondary character. Of course, with what you suggest, it would need to be a bigger, longer adventure.

Who knows if JD won't try this out with one of the 2 remaining books of the series. After all, he said that they will both have 500 sections, so having one of these two books divided into a two-parts, 250-sections story could work.

The new order books are likely to have the New Order Grand Master as the main person. Other people like Lone Wolf and Grey Star are unlikely to get the main focus.

The type of books asked for is mainly done through mini-adventures.

It could be done through the novels as well but Lencia and Telchos are both far away from Sommerlund and Suhn so unlikely they will play a part in them.

Initially I thought there would be more than the two trilogies which have been announced but I guess that mainly depends on sales, and popularity of the paper-back version of the novels.
