Great CONAN music!

Im looking for some great conan music.
Basil Poledouri's soundtracks speaks for it self.
But I will play that only when the players deserv it so to speak.
When they do something good. Or act like heroes or do something heroic I will play "Riders of Tamaris" or something like it. So I dont wear out the conan soundtracks.

But hey I know this is a well worn out subject, but Im new to conan, and telling about inspirations and music is only joy in repitition. And keeps the forum alive!

Especially Im loooking for something I could use around Zamoria-Turan and Shem.

did basil poledouris work on the Conan the Destroyer's Music?
I got the origianl soundtrack from Conan the Barbarian, but never thought about the second one?
If he did not do it, who did, and is it worth getting?
I suppose I could rent the movie, but I'd rather ask first.

IMHO the Barbarian soundtrack is the best bedroom music ever, the temp, ebb and flow, and variety put all others to shame, Bolero comes a close second though.

Basil did work on Destroyer but I guess they gave him a really small orchestra instead of the full one for CTB and the music just not as strong. I was just reading about the small orchestra and Destroyer the other day but I can't remember where. Basil's music is always worth getting but do not expect a CTB level soundtrack.

Looks like it Bjorn - the company Cauldron is located in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic. Not sure if there is another site with the downloads...I'll check around.

Oh, I forgot my additional music recommendation:

Holst's "The Planets" has some excellent tracks for Conan background music. 8) "Mars" is very appropriate.

You should rather buy soundtrack of Conan the Barbarian - it is much, much better than music of the Destroyer.

I agree. The sound track from Destroyer was lacking when compared to the original.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that High Lord Dee already has the CTB soundtrack - otherwise searching for Destroyer would make no sense.
