Gravity Well Scenario

Hi all! A few questions about the Gravity Well scenario.

1 Is the flat short edge supposed to be considered the star (for measuring purposes) or are you supposed to create some kind of “protruding” zone to represent the hump of the star as pictured. I assume it’s the former but I’ve been known to make bad conclusions in the past

2 If it’s the flat short table edge you measure from, then you should start the asteroid belt 12” from the table edge, right? If so how, how wide should the belt be? (or does it matter...just go with the 4”-6” from the Stellar Debris section?)

3 And finally. It indicates that if your ship is within 18” of the star during the end phase, you take 1d3 critical hits. Since you have to be that close to get into the belt to search for the admiral, any ship searching for the admiral WILL be taking those crits, right? It seems pretty clear but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something (that admiral better be worth all the Bothans who will die this weekend  )

Thanks!

1. The actual edge will do fine, but if you want to create the surface of a sun, go for it!

2. A couple of inches will do for the asteroids, but it depends on what terrain you have yourself. A bit of variation won't hurt.

3. Yup. Not meant to be easy :)

Awesome, thanks for the quick response!
