Sorry if this was already asked, but are any further improvements planned for the G'Quan? It was a little disheartening to see the new playtest pack with the same inadequate G'Quan as the last time.

In all seriousness, I've re-proposed the armour/redundancy and the main issue seems time needed to test it rather than that it isn't popular.

And yes, the G'Quan in all likelihood will be getting a bit more than the +1AD and +5 damage (and no, it isn't more damage/crew)...hint, hint...

TBS would be unofficial and that's Matt's issue with it. Given that it's unofficial and already widely known here he thinks that's enough. The way I take that is that we ought to step up the usage of TBS, using it in playtesting and tournaments and campaigns!

Exactly what is being planned is not yet known (except presumably by Triggy and probably some other Mongoose staff :)). I'm hoping for a further increase to the main beam. If I get a second wish, it's either the energy mine promoted to slow-loading, or the ion cannons promoted to double-damage (especially on the G'Lan).
 
of course sometimes even if all the playtesters agree / like an idea - does not mean it goes in.......................notice Triggy hedges his bets a little - its not at all certain by his tone.................

All of the playtesters are agreed, and the G'Quan is already getting an upgrade (that most of the community are calling out for, hint, hint) but until it's in the next version of rules updates as you say, I'm hedging my bets a little.
 
??? which type of thing are you on about? i dont remember any more increases on it apart from maybe putting the pulse to 10".
