There is a lot of information crammed in to these pages and I like that a great deal. In particular, the sample Gladiators are a valuable source of inspiration to me. Initially, I suspected this would be a real world book, but the inclusion of humanoids and other races was a nice touch.

I know there have been some ... issues, but Hell Yes! :wink:

I had to do a fair bit of tweaking to this book to get it working with Legend. The sample Gladiators had to be created from scratch because their d20 counterparts didn't work at all.

There is a great deal of information in that book though, the previous writer did a superb job with it.

I liked the book and will enjoy it. But there are still a few references to non-Legend rules like levels and hit dice. These are in the many-on-one and monster events. In the many-on-one battle, the levels of the many should equal the level of the one. That doesn't really translate too well from d20. Similarly with the monster battle, the levels of the gladiators equaling the hit dice of the monster.
