Ships of Clement Sector 11: Fedpost Mail Courier is now available on Drive-Thru RPG and RPGNow at this link!

In 2334, Anderson and Felix were contracted by the newly formed Hub Federation Postal Service (Fedpost) to design and construct a fast mail courier with extended fuel capacity and as small a crew requirement as possible in order to deliver both electronic and physical mail.

Several design options were presented for consideration over the following twelve months until the managing board of Fedpost approved a small one hundred displacement tonne courier with enough internal fuel for two Zimm transits of two parsecs and multiple in-system skip-transits. The mail courier design included a maneuver drive capable of a thrust of two gravities.

The Fedpost Mail Courier is that design.

Ships of Clement Sector 11: Fedpost Mail Courier comes complete with beautiful views of the ship. The courier is presented with full deckplans and statistics to make your use of our product simple, easy and fun. In addition, the courier comes with a set of adventure hooks to get your characters right into the action as well as a short story written by Bradley Warnes.

In addition, Ships of Clement Sector 11: Fedpost Mail Courier also comes with a Fedpost career track to enable players to join this new and vibrant organization!

Though designed specifically with our Clement Sector setting in mind, the courier could easily be used in any Traveller setting.

Get on board! Adventure awaits!

Ah, the x-boat of Clement-verse, the pony express of the space lanes!

A great addition to the setting, the mail courier is a perfect plot device. Rob the courier, protect the courier, be the courier - or just pass by in the darkness of space.

For small (1-2 people) groups the ship - along with the brand new fedpost career (included in the ship book) can be the focus of a gaming session or campaign. I know at least I got a kind of pony express/Wild West vibe from reading the book, and I can see lots of potential for a fedpost campaign filled with dangers and adventure!

If and when you guys decide to make 21 starport places 2 I expect to see a fedpost office as part of that book, complete with a reception for customers, mail sorting and storage areas, starship crew R&R facilities and custom-made docks for couriers, fitting both cargo hatches and airlock of the courier ship for efficient package handling.

At first I was a bit surprised by the lack of integrated mail drum, but when checking the official X-boat design in book 2: traders and gunboats I noticed it didn't have one either, so I can only assume that mail drums are only required for freelance mail carriers?
