Cosmic Mongoose
Here we see the MV Savannah Hayden moving past the gas giant Rosenthal in the Gagnon system (Cascadia 0308). The Hayden is an Atlas-class freighter owned by Diamond Enterprises, a shipping company based on Bastiat (Franklin 0807).

The Atlas-class freighter and several of its variants will be featured in Gypsy Knights Games' Ships of Clement Sector 17: Atlas-class freighter which will be available soon.

Are we looking at the same setup as with the Rucker-book, with an in-depth look at the original ship followed by details of variants?

There were some impressive and creative Rucker variants, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you might create from a larger hull, with more space to modify!

Yes, that's exactly what we are doing.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the Rucker and I hope you'll enjoy what Michael has done with the Atlas. I believe you will.

The Atlas-class freighter has several variants. Among those are the "colony variant" created in the early days of Clement Sector by the ship's designer, James Lancaster. The variant is still in use today and carries colonists and supplies to the frontier.

Here we see two Atlas-class Colony Ships approaching TXF-207 in the Peace Subsector of Tranquility Sector. Tranquility Sector is located to trailing of Clement Sector.

The Atlas-class Colony Ship, along with several other variants, will be presented in Gypsy Knights Games' Ships of Clement Sector 17: Atlas-class Freighter. The book will be available in PDF on January 6.

Again, cracking art. I'm liking the colony cargo stuff. Tempted to dive in. How generic is this?

It is geared to our Clement Sector setting using our version of the Cepheus Engine rules but could be converted over to something like Mongoose's 2e rules if needed.
