It is a 400-tonne escort/pirate hunter built by the United States Space Navy and by Boone (Sequoyah 0305). Several other US colonies and allied systems also use the ship.

It's another great entry into our Ships of Clement Sector line written by Michael Johnson. It will also feature art by Ian Stead and Bradley Warnes as well as featuring some short fiction also by Bradley Warnes.

Here, we see the USS Richard Poe, a Strikemaster-class Brig, passing the gas giant McDonald as it make its way through the Harrison System (Sequoyah 0605). The vessel was involved in the Battle of Sophronius following the Conduit Collapse and made its way to Boone (Sequoyah 0305) to join elements of the US Space Navy there.

The Burck Group, the corporation which used to control Campbell (Cascadia 0408) purchased three Strikemaster-class Brigs from the United States in 2299. Shortly thereafter, the people of Campbell rose up in revolution. While there was great fear that the corporation owned vessels might be used against the revolutionaries, it would turn out that this would not be the case. The crews of the vessels refused to conduct attacks, mutinied against their commanders, and joined the revolution.

The new government of Campbell still operates these vessels, renamed PCS Timothy Lee, PCS Douglas Spohn, and PCS Ronald Hicks after three heroes of the revolution.
