The second edition of Subsector Sourcebook 1: Cascadia is now available on Drive-thru RPG!

If you have already purchased (or were gifted) the PDF of this book, check your updates on Drive-thru, RPGNow or any of the family of OBS websites. You should have a complimentary copy of this book added to your update section. Just like Clement Sector, Cascadia will remain a free update for those who have purchased SS1: Cascadia until it is pulled down on May 22. Of course, if you go buy SS1: Cascadia 1e, you will also get a copy of Cascadia (OGL) along with your purchase.

Check it out at this link: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/181069/Subsector-Sourcebook-1-Cascadia-2nd-Edition-OGL-Version

A Lee-class merchant vessel leaving the Joplin Downport on Bowemiwak (Sequoyah 0103) passes a local resident and her companion.

Art by Bradley Warnes from the 2nd edition of Clement Sector which is now available at Drive-thru RPG. If you have purchased the first edition of Clement Sector, the 2nd edition is available as a free update. If you have not, it is currently available for sale as a PDF with a print version to arrive soon.

Clement Sector 2nd edition (OGL) uses the 2d6 SF SRD (formerly known as Mongoose Traveller 1e). You can purchase your copy at this link: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/180536/Clement-Sector-2nd-Edition-OGL-Version

Cool, so Clement-verse is becoming a multi-verse? (Sorry, Reading too much comics)

This sounds like a good idea, the best of two Worlds, where the old material will still be useable for those that prefer it, and there also being a parallell line of 2nd ed stuff.

Will the 2nd ed versions of existing Products be available as free updates for owners of the originals, or will they be considered new Products (i e buy again)?

And Another thing.... Perhaps better aimed at drivethru RPG but I can atleast ask, right? If all current 1st ed Traveller gets taken down soon (may 22 or something?) what will happen to books already owned? Will they still be available from 'my library' and just pulled from the store, or will they disappear from the site?

Finally, that pic with the Lee, Beautiful!

Our intent is to provide the 1e -> 2e updates as a free download for the folks who already purchased the originals. For reasons I cannot tell you right now concerning the Super Secret Thing, that may not be possible due to a technological issue we may be facing. As it stands, that's our intent but it may not be the result. We should know quite soon. If it is at all possible, we will provide you with a free update similar to what we are doing with our 1e -> OGL products.

And, in some cases, we are adding new things as well. Clement Sector (OGL) and Clement Sector (2e) will both be much larger products than the Clement Sector 1e book was. Lots of additions and a major change as to how the Zimm Drive works. If you purchased Clement Sector 1e, you should be able to download Clement Sector (OGL) from your updates right now. If you haven't bought Clement Sector 1e, then you can buy the OGL version at this link.

Clement Sector (2e version) will be coming along quite soon. Hopefully sooner than later. It's ready. We're just waiting for Mongoose to fire the starting gun.

All Traveller 1e material will be forced to convert to OGL or go off the market in the near future. We're choosing to make the majority of our 1e product to be OGL. Some will get folded into other products and some will be left behind. Each publisher will be forced to confront that decision.

As for DTRPG, here's how that works: If the publisher of that material chooses to simply make the product "private" then that product will disappear from the marketplace. You will still have the product in your library but no one will be able to purchase it. It will no longer appear on the DTRPG website (or the associated websites such as RPGNow). This is the route GKG will be taking and, I suspect, most of the 3PP will be as well.

It *IS* possible to ask DTRPG to delete and remove a product. Some publishers may do this and, if they do, it will also disappear from your library. We will not do this. I do not believe others will do this. However, you should know that it is a possibility.

We strive to be perfect but sometimes we do miss the mark. It would seem that there was a mixup with the Dade subsector map in the Clement Sector Second Edition PDF. That mistake has now been repaired. You can download the corrected version at DTRPG now.
