Genghis Con, Denver, Colorado Tourney

This was the first time we had a B5 tourney here and a good time was had by most.
Eight players, two Narn, two ISA, one each of Vree, Gaim, E.A. (Crusade), Abbai. First, second, and third place fleets were ISA, Vree, and Narn.
Good games, great players. Three of the players were new to the game and one was a recent initiate. It was a fine time with the experienced players helping the new ones with sound advice even in the middle of their own games. Gentlemen all.
We lost two players to a family emergency just before the tourney. We hope to have a larger one come next convention.

Definitely A Fun time Although That may be cause i was High on Cough syrup But still a great time. I hope we can have abigger one next time and that Maybe I will run The tourney so david can play.

I assure you I will not be doing that many demos. To put up with what I did and not get anything from BF? Yeah, right. I'll probably do a friendly opposite the BF tourney plus a scenario...unless you and Owen want to run the scenario...

- who has run events before, but has to be properly motivated. If the participants are like some you had last week, that motivation would most likely have to be alcoholic and I'd have to indulge in it before the event... ;-)

I'm quite sad I missed the chance to introduce everyone to my Centauri Wolfpack. In case you curious, my lists were to be:

Secundus
Balvarin
2x Demos
4x Kutai

or (for Minbari, certain others)

Maximus
Corvan
2x Kutai

Morgrath

I'll have to catch y'all next time, or next month if we can pull together these monthly intra-state games

BTW - does anyone in the Denver area already have a Drakh fleet?

I recall two other Psi Corps fleets... but no PakMaRa. All I have is three units of Paks....

We apparently don't also have Brakiri (except Nick who doesn't show much anymore). I may see if I can't get that covered before the minis go away unless someone already has them and since Abbai also seem to be covered as well.

Looks like everyone had put in a good show, wish I had been able to make it. Blasted Florida weather was too strong... I couldn't bring myself to leave in time. Well that and my sister bailing on the ski trip part of the event for us.

Still, good to see the abbai out there... how'd did they do? I see they handicapped themselves by coming in finless on the tiracas.

He failed to make sacrifices to JoBoo so his dice failed him It was one of the best looking fleets on the table though.
