Umm, can someone explain this to me:

Is it RoK or is it something else? Neither the price nor the format ( paperback ) or page count match.

Sounds like it is a remnant of the original idea for The Road of Kings, which would have been soft-cover, called the Hyborian Gazeteer, and written by Shannan Kalvar instead of by me.

If you look here, http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t..._sbs_b_3/002-7138219-5597648?v=glance&s=books, you can see a hardcover version of Pirate Isles written by Ian Sturrock... but is now a softcover book written by Shannon Kalvar.

Plans change, apparently.
