So I just finished my third, 2 session adventure as a Runequest GM.
I think I'm winning some guys over to this side of the D20. This session were better since I did not have to pull the punches so much.
In the first encounter the players fought a gargoyle. I did not take into account that the monster had AP:6. My players hit in the first round. No damage. I was thinking: "Oh oh. My boys are dead.". Next round, Axe critical hit: Ignore armor,Bleed. And another player threw a "confusion"(don't remember the name). The gargoyle was defeated. I was very happy.
In short. Success with that group. They like the system.
Now I will try the system with a more Mix-maxers group of D&D players. I will sugar coated by playing in a setting they like: second edition Planescape. I think the factions in the city of doors, are perfect for cults, and would not be surprised if they are a copy from Glorantha.
Anyway guys, thanks for the support. I will keep you posted.
