Jester, that is one awesome looking fleet. One of the best painted fleets that I have ever seen!! If I had the spare cash I would buy it and I dislike the Centauri.

Sigh too bad your not in Aus, i'd be willing to pay the prices for a paint job of that quality... but not with the extra load of having to ship them out to the uk then back here.

Not wishing to sound like "if you have to ask, you can't afford it..." but what sort of price would you charge for painting a fleet box worth of minis?
I've just ordered a Brakiri box (plus a couple of additional ships) and my painting level usually involves a spray can!!! :lol:
I know it would be a big job, but I wouldn't expect you to lavish as much time as you obviously did on the Centauri (they're frakking excellent, by the way :shock: )...
Anyhoo, if you could give me a ballpark figure, that would be great. 8)

As tempting as your offer is, I'll pass...
Mainly because the shipping cost will kill me, 2nd because I'll never be as good as you if I just have you do it for me 8)

Quick question: what software did you use to make your curved labels on the ship bases? I've tried a few things but nothing seems to work out like I want. Haven't broke down and bought photoshop yet though so if that's what you used I'll just have to wait. Also, what did you use for the labels themselves or did you just cut them in the right shape with scissors?

I used photoshop to "type on a path" the path in this case being a circle. Then generated a jpg that had all the names on a black square. Then I printed the names onto an a4 sticky label and then cut the names out my hand and stuck them on. I am then able to peel them off after the event...

Having been spanked by this fleet on more than one occasion I can only say that the above photo does not do it justice. The new owner is going to have one hell have a fleet to show off.

Win or lose the Centauri do it in style. 8)

I suffer from having too many ideas and plans... I need to move on quickly as I become bored. Although I do still have some Centauri Plans.
