Say, those are pretty cool!
I don't know if it's possible, but packing them 6 to a page would make sense. (I tried to get acrobat to print them that way, but there was some weirdness with the scaling, and my acrobat-fu is not strong enough to fix it.)
That would be my bad - they're 6"x4", not 5"x3"...
6 to a page, no... 4, yes.
Go to your print options, select Multiple Pages in the Page Scaling drop down. You want custom, 2x2. Tick the Auto-Rotate box and you should get 2 per page in either direction in the preview. All you need to do then is select 2+ in the Pages text box in the Page Range section and 9 pieces of paper. They will be smaller than normal though.
For best results, try to get some blank 6x4 cards - for one thing, they'll fit the card box better and I use them for just about everything.
No problem - I did them a while back and just suddenly thought about them when discussing the trade rules with rust and the guys that Mongoose might like them - I didn't think they'd share them, but I'm thrilled they did.
Originally, I got annoyed with the Merchant Prince book shutting on me when trying to roll up cargos while trying to work out how the spec trading rules worked.
If just one person likes them, then that's made doing them worthwhile...
Matt, I think you should have charged a small fee for these
(joking)
I've just sent off a 5x3 version to Matt at his request - the text is a little small though, so I've recommended making both available - as the saying goes, we shall see. (The 5x3 is more portable but less easy to read).
Just to let people know how small the font is on the 5x3, I had to use 7 point Courier New...
I've got the ship index to polish up and will send a copy of that to Matt too (I think that only fair since it was a joint effort, that it should be an official release).
