Had a look at Panzershiffe and GHQ, no sign of the two missing ships there.

Note that GHQ and Panzerschiffe are a different scale to Navwar. As none of the Russian carriers were built, and aren't considered as glamorous as daft German pipe-dreams, models are unlikely any time soon. That said, articles on the Project 72 class invariably comment on its uncanny resemblance to HMS Illustrious, so I shall probably opt for that as a stand-in.

Dom.

If you're working in 1:2400 scale, you can always send a note to the guys at Panzerschiffe and ask them to make the missing ships. There's a better than even chance that they will!

I can hope.

Navwar do make two of the not built designs, ie Sovietski Soyuz and Project 71.

I found some pics for comparison

Illustrious is a good proxy. Remember the Russian designers looked very closely at the designs of other nations (including the Illustrious) when working on theirs.

I have a Navwar Illustrious, and I'm sure the superstructure comes as a separate part. Looks like you could file the lot down from the bottom (ouch...), then file the funnel down, and add a 'box' where the mast is meant to be, and that would do the trick.
