Just to let everyone know in good time...

As of Monday next week, all SF fleet box sets will be changing to $149.99/£89.99. We have held the price for as long as we can but with the price of materials rising we have to make this change.

If you have already ordered/pre-ordered a fleet set, do not worry, there will be no change for you and the original price will be honoured.

The price change will take place on Monday morning UK time, so you have the weekend to pick up a bargain!

:? Looks like the Gorns hidding away actually did me some good - a saving of £10 including postage is always nice. And possibly an updated mini rule book :?: :D

Does that mean that the Kzinti's are out next week?

No, but they are really not far away - we are starting to see the first production metals here at Mongoose HQ, and our painter is busy beavering away on them!

The Kzinti squadron set and Romulan Reinforcements will be the next main release, with the Kzinti fleets following hard on their heels (those who have pre-ordered the Kzinti may well see their fleet sets arrive as the squadron sets are just making their way into stores - will keep you informed!).

Gorns very soon after that - the new Destroyer and Dreadnought are already in the hands of our painter (who, incidentally, has just completed some very nice Romulan-style KF5R and KRC ships, which we will be photographing next week, along with some really snazzy Orions), and the rest are prototyping.

We are also about to prototype the last of the civvies, the Battlestation (oh, yes), and the first of the brand new models, likely including the Gettysburg-class and... something else...

So, in a nutshell, the production issues have been solved, stock is being built up, and you are about to be hit by a tidal wave of ships :)

Oh, and you saw it here first, it is very likely that the next all new fleet will be the Orions, judging from the work Sand is doing right now. They will likely appear in the next Journal as a playtest fleet (along with some other funky bits and pieces) - shaping up to bea _seriously_ cool fleet.

So all the other raider types from the diverse ol Orion fleet then.

May I ask, might that include WYN or are they well off the radar at the moment (as any good WYN should be...)

YES. I'll take 6+ Gettysburgs please.

I'm assuming we'll see stats as the models go on sale?

As in the double raider and the OK6?

Have we seen the final Gorn miniatures yet?

I want to see them before deciding whether to get the fleet box.

thats why i haven't ordered, scales, plates, nothing, who knows! and while we wait, the price jumps up almost 20% :-(

According to the discussion on the ADB BBS then the more detailed versions are what you get, so I've taken the plunge on my 3rd and 4th fleets, and ordered the Gorn Fleet and Romulan Reinforcements.
