Finished Synthi Whip (and Human Organs) Stand.

Not designed like a snack stand as the inspiration from 2000 AD, but what I did was better than just throwing this container away.

This is based on one of those lime juice containers shaped like a lime. They also some in lemon, but I go through about two lime containers a month and hardly finish two lemons in a year (I happen to be a lush.).

The pics will speak for themselves, and this will make a nice piece to add to my undercity board.

Notice the antenna added at the last minute to make this piece match my vending machines.

I really like the look of that. There are numerous incidences of hottie and munceburger stands that themselves look like big hotdogs and the like. This fits that perfectly.

I suppose it makes sense that the troggies serve organs and the like :)

Did you use any particular technique to make sure that the paint adhered to the soft squeezy plastic?

I just primed it with 99 cent black spraypaint and then drybrushed with green and rust colors.

I'll be spraying it with sealant later today.

This is absolutly genius!! I love it when people post things like this. Every day items easily turned into something nice. Keep it up man!

Good job.
I can invision dozens of zombies rushing the stand now...
"Brrraaaaaainssss."
"Sorry buddy I'm fresh out, get back... HELP!"

Haven't seen any new terrain for a while. Are you working on something?
Personally, I'm thinking about putting together street level urban modular terrain using some MDF squares. It'll take a long time but I'll keep a photo log and post all details.
cheers

Hey Moji!

Yep, I've finished quite a few pieces and made my first piece with LED lighting.

I'll post a new thread for that, but in the meantime here's a teaser picture of the undercity junkyard.

That is beautiful (in a nasty grody type of way).

Did you make it out of a bunch of childrens toys? The moldings seem to round and bubbly to be actual terrain items.
Guess it doesn't matter, it looks great!
