Fighters, intensify defensive fire

are the interceptors provided by fighters doubeld, and if so, when are the fighters eliminated, after youve failed 2 dices????????????????
im just not sure

I would say no. Then special action doubles the rating of the capital ship performing the action. A fighter flight would still add +1 AF and be lost if any dice roll a '1'. So, thinking about it, Intensify Defensive Fire would actually put escorting fighters at greater risk (they would get hit by outward bound Interceptor fire I guess).

Well going from an often used rule of multiplication before addition, i guess youd double first and then add the dice.

Plsu the special actionm would only affect the ship and not the fighter bases.
