Mongoose
I'm about to sell off all of my ships because I need cash. If anyone is interested, PM me. I'll get a list of what I have and some pictures by the weekend. Off the top of my head, I have about 15 Klingons, 15 Feds, 25 Romulans, 10 Kzinti. The Klingons have been assembled and primed, The Feds have been primed and a white coat applied along with decals, the Romulans have been primed and have a gray coat, and the Kzinti have been assembled but unpainted. I'm hoping to sell these off all together.

Yes, please do put together a list of exactly what you have and your asking price. :) Depending on what I get for presents today (or soon if we cancel Xmas with the relatives because my boy is slightly sick today) I may be up for some of the Roms.

Favored trading status, maybe???
Really nice guy bonus???
Faster typing???
Just plain lucky???

And not exactly obtained, just followed the directions... PM'ed for a list... and agreed to offer presented for Kzinti.

Not sure I want any of the others as he wants to keep fleets together and I really don't need another Federation or Klingon or Romulan fleet.
Now if anyone else gets one of them and then has extras of one or two units they don't want - I might be interested in a few singles...

Broke down and did it anyway...
Added the Klingon and Romulan fleets to my acquisition.

now all I need is a really good deal on some Tholians!!! 8)

Wow, at the rate you're going, maybe Mike was right and you will be able to run an F&E game using all miniatures and a cafeteria floor. :D

Nonsense. Doing that would clearly involve an indoor basketball court

Actually, it'll take a combination of the two. You need to play it in a large elementary or middle school with a convertible cafeteria.

Using the hex sizes in the F&E LSM and enlarging proportionally for scale of ST2500 minis... you need approximately 64 feet in length to handle the minis.
I'd prefer to double that, to allow more room in the hexes for multiple ships. So that's ~120 feet in length and about 70 to 80 in height.
So you fold-up and store enough dining table to give you this amount of playing surface. Then you use the rest of the tables to hold the over-sized Fleet Control Charts with fleet boxes large enough to store your minis.

Of course that plan calls for some nice fleet markers. That's where the 1:1000 scale model market facilitates the job. The models can be placd in the Extreme, Ultra, Ginormous Scale Map to represent entire fleets of ST2500 minis.

A Dozen CAs, a dozen D7s, a dozen WarEagles, should do it for the main empires.
There is a company that made 1:1000 scale Tholians, but they are OOP. I've seen several of them on Ebay... it should only take 3 or 4 of those.
The Lyran Tigers, Hydran Rangers, Kzinti BCs, and Gorn CAs will be the hard ones as they will need to be scratch-built.

I think maybe I need to win the lottery.
Then maybe I can just get Mongoose to print out enough CAs in 1:1000 scale to cover it!!!

LOL...yep he bought 3 of my 4 fleets :)

So I still have the Federation fleet left and here's what I have:
Here's my Federation Fleet for sale, unfortunately, no stands are included though and I really don't want to sell them piecemeal so I'm hoping to sell it as one whole batch. I also have a few extra spare parts like nacelles, radar dish, and extra decals.

8) And if only you had been unloading Gorn ships instead of Federation, I would have taken all of them!

But i think 19,220 points of Federation ships is about enough for anyone... anyone who's still sane, that is!

Wow, you weren't kidding you have a lot of minis. You have more in Feds than I have in probably all my fleets combined.

Maybe keep some untouched to sell years down the road as untouched collector's items? :o

Three fleets arrived in Murfreesboro today. All safe and sound and all accounted for.

Thanks.
Well, after opening the box and visually inspecting each mini - there was one bent Kzin weapon pylon, one detached SparrowHawk engine, and several detached "D" hull wings... but all pieces are accounted for and a bit of epoxy and superglue will suffice to repair any damage.

Sorry about that! I tried to pack them as best as i could. The Kzinti pylons are especially delicate.
