I don't have anything against the shadows, I just havn't been able to use them much. If you are teaching someone the game, and they saw the show, putting a shadow ship on the table freaks them out.
I have kind of an aggressive playing style, and the centauri suit me down to the ground. I have to be careful, and restrain myself, when I use my EA. I've had some pretty spectacular defeats due to ignoring this. One of the reasons I like playing EA and shadows is that it makes me change my tactics, and think about what I am doing more.

hmm, not sure, my playing style has fallen to pieces and i ignore all my own advice, i may have to retire and become a ACTA coach instead ;-)

I'll start playing my drakh as and when i get a mo-ship, and i also now have the re-inforcements box for minbari, so need to give those a run out.

I like the Vorlons for the look of thier ships and the firepower of their death beams. The Drazi are fun because they remind me of the way fighter attacks are depicted in old war movies. The 3rd Age EA has both nice looking ships and good all-around firepower. Also, the aft beams on the Omega and the Hyperion are too much fun.
