Fastplay

Has Mongoose considered producing a Fast Play version of Armageddon 2089 so people that might be interested could see how the system work before they by the core bookÉ

Since A:2089 is close enough to standard D20 there isn't much need for a fast play version.

If you have specific questions I'm sure someone here can answer them.

I have to sincerely disagree.

I've been playing d20 products since they have come out and there is significant differences between products.

Tone, Atmosphere, Adventure Types, Character abilities varying widely from:

DND
Star Wars
Spycraft
CofC d20
Arcana Unearthed
d20 Modern
Mutants and Masterminds
Macho Women with Guns

If they were all basically the same there would be no need to produce a core book for each of these settings.

So I'll sit here hoping someone at Mongoose will heed my plea for a fastplay rules or "Armaggedon:First Skirmish"

A:2089 is based on DnD 3.0 with some modifications for the Mek/ Vehicle combat.

While I'm not a Mongoose employee I can answer most questions.
