Is there any for RQ??

Even better - any books published?

There seems to be a fair bit out there for D&D, and for a couple of other games out there (and in some cases, in reverse - the fiction first, then the game).

It just came to mind from a dream I had (a group of pilgrims were setting out from a town, and their leader was seeking a blessing from a Chalana Arroy priestess... prob cos I was thinking of the 'clergy' thread )

Greg Stafford is supposed to be working on a novel. There was a rumour of a book coming out at the time Hero Wars was first released - I think that was supposed to be by Robin Laws. Check out Oliver Dickinson's The Complete Griselda for some old style Runequest fiction that is just great. There's also a site called Mything Links which has Gloranthan fan fiction and myths - I can't remember the link off the top of my head but you can get there via a link on my website titled Gloranthan Tales, as well as the link to the Griselda site.

The Complete Griselda by Oliver Dickinson - Some of these stories were originally published in White Dwarf, back pre-wharhammer, when Games Workshop were printing a licensed version of RQ2 in the UK...

...oh yes, and Gloranthan Visions - This is a slim volume that includes a short story by Phyllis Ann Karr, and an excerpt of an (unpublished) novel by John Boyle. It was included in the Hero Wars boxed set and is officially out of print, though there may still be copies floating around somewhere, as well as in the second hand market

Are any of these 'based' on MRQ? or all older stuff? Which, I suppose, means are any 2nd Age, and Gl vs EWF vs old traditions.

Not that I would mind the RQ2/3 stuff - it's what I was brought up on... in a way.

I am not aware of any 2nd age Godlearner vs. EWF fan-fiction. But there is a lot of mythology-fan-fiction, and 3rd age fan-fiction out there.

But you are welcome to write 2nd age fan-fiction!
