Exchange rate of Rurarians for Raziks/Sentris?

Just a quick one...lets say I'm using the much maligned Liati (I've had great luck with it actually)...I get some Rutarians with the Liati ...but like Sentris to Raziks, I'd like to exchange the Rutarians for Raziks because I want the dogfight bonus of the Raziks.

1. Can I even exchange the Rutarians at all for Raziks (or Sentris for that matter)?

2. If so, is there a "rate" say for every 1 Rutarian do I get 2 Raziks or something similar?

My memory may be failing here but I thought in the 1st Edition there was something about this that allowed it. However in 2 ed. the Fanhead Fleet List is a lot more ambiguous about it leading me to think one cannot exchange Rutarians for anything..what say ye all? 8)

Here my 2 cents:

1) Yes, you can replace Rutarians with Razik/Sentri
2) No, you replace on a 1 : 1 basis

According to the rules you cannot replace Rutarians for Raziks. However, since it is effectively a downgrade, I doubt any reasonable opponent would mind.

Since Rutarians are a superior fighter, it costs a patrol point to swap Sentris out for Rutarians. Which was the case in 1e as it is in 2e, although the numbers may be different.
