Not related to anything you did, but the collapsable fuel tank needs to show the 1/100 tonnage used when empty so it can be accounted for.

It only takes up room in a cargo bay, and throws a Fuel tab error if you don't have room for it. The bay deducts the ship's space.
Cargo tab shows you the empty volume correctly if you change the toggle to empty.
It cannot exist without a bay, unlike the supplies that are not bay dependent.
