EWF and Kralorela

Both EWF and Kralorela are pretty much devoted to Dragon Mysticsim;
I just wondered why one was annihilated at the end of the second age and the other remained to thrive.
Is it their approach to Draconic Mysticism?
Though Kralori never tried to create a dragon, everyone has there inner dragon, the Empire is a Dragon (in the form of the Current Emperor).
Did the EWF get lost along the way?
I thought, from reading the Dragonewt material it was perhaps the humans inability to understand the Right Action that caused the down fall of the EWF, but in that case surely Kralorela would have fallen.

In the eventual (hopefully sooner than later) Kralori source book will there be an alternate Draconic Mysticism or will it follow the rules as they stand.
Or is it still on the back burner of 2nd Age creative process?

(Its ashame a cut down version of Mystism couldn't have sneaked its way into the core rule book... perhaps in third edition )

Kralorela is not devoted to Dragon mysticism, they are devoted to a theistically influenced short cut.

They didn't fall partly through not reaching so high, and partly through being a long way from Dragon Pass and the Dragonnewt center of power

The State religion is the Emperor's cult (Godunya in the 3rd Age), which doesn't seem to be particularly thiest, it is worshipping Emperor as a Dragon, and is founded on Emperor Daruda's mystism.
It seems only the New Dragon Circle (Ex-God Learners) may have use a thiest bent to Dragon magic (Especially with the Shang Hsa backed path of Immanent mastery which the Emperor seems to keep around just to prove its the wrong way to go about things... and the fact they are as hard as nails).

Yes but Kralorela has its of Draconic presence; the Blue Dragon, August Dragon, , are there are also sizable Dragonnewt poulations at the Island of Fanzai and Hum Chang (four Newt cities - it isn't the crucible of dragon activity in Genertela but it they could easily lay to waste a good portion of the country. )

I think I heard that the EWF, or members of it, threatened the Dragon Pass eggs. Maybe some of them wanted to learn the secret of rebirth for personal immortality, or maybe they needed access to the eggs in order to further the Great Dragon project, but in any case, that's why the dragons turned up and blasted them all. Maybe the precise reason for the backlash is lost, and that any individual campaign can have its own reason for it all going wrong. The players could be the ones that caused it! Or, the ones that stopped it happening! (for a while...)
