Evils MEA

the 25% discount is part of the militia army list in the advanced rules.

Why? Surely if they wanted militia units to be 25% cheaper why didn't they just make them cheaper in the 1st place. We have not played with the MEA at all so far, as no one has bought any yet (thou that maybe soon changing).

In our experience if any army needs a price adjustment its the PLA need their infantry to become a bit cheaper

hope the other factions get a nastier bonus because the MEA are going to dominate in the hands of good players.

Note the MEA have a conventional army list as well, with no discounts. The militia has other factors limiting their usefulness.

Maybe once more units come out, but at the moment I am not so sure.

Ah the militias, gotta love a force that has to bunch its troops together so tightly that it means grenades are the weapon of choice...that and the fact that you can quiet literally overwhelm your opponent with a tide of humanity.

Thats why I think pre-determined armies are an effective choice. e.g. Tournament style, sure, blast weps may be good against one force, but otherwise not!

Oh, and just give every squad you take a technical, they are worth it as transports and if not as portible machine guns, perfect for guerilla fighting. With the MEA leader, they will be immensely fun.

against the mea tanks are in trouble especialy the pla one, as the pla one cant dish out the dirt and doesnt last long V kornets (not the icecream variety)

Yeah a Type 99 has issues, although if you don't have at-14s they are a lot more hardy. The major one I was thinking about was the abrams and the chally. Both have incredible amounts of firepower and are hardy enough to survive a mass RPGing.

Which is pretty acurrate to real life.... Mind you they ain't exactly cheap.... I think it will become less of an issue once a few more waves have come out, and people aren't restricted to fielding only a couple of different unit types.

Your breakin my heart, Evil. Here in my area, I'm still waiting for Wave 1 to be restocked so I can get my MEA. All I have is the singles I ordered from MP, which by the way had thier headdresses carved off and no they sport berets and helmets or are just bearheaded. I have had a pre-order for them for over a month. Still waiting.

Yeah its mad, the shops wish to sell the game, but its the darn distributers that are letting MGP down big big big time here !! this will be like 4 weeks of the stuff sitting in whare houses to be launched.

we whant it, the shops what it, and the distributers dont whant to launch it !!!!! Total madness !!!!!

feel sorry for MGP they now have the stuff well in advance of releases, and so it can be on sale at begining of month and what happenes the distributers delay it, just shows brian ansels shares (also largest share holder in GW) is using his infulance well i recon. could be wrong but from talking to a few stockists something stinks.

reason i only spent £120 or so at MGP was so i can support my LGS, but now wishing i just looked after myself and got it a MGP when i was there :(

Tell your LGS and they might throw in a cup of coffee when you buy your stuff..... :) They might even be nice and hand it to you in a cup rather than just throw it..... 8)
