Escalate and FAQ

Are the effects of an escalate roll applied immediately or does another critical hit have to be sustained the that particular location?

Also is there a FAQ anywhere for Noble Armada?

You roll to see if a crit escalates in the end phase. If it does escalate, it happens immediately.

I don't think there is an FAQ.

I figured thats the way it worked. Just had a player that questioned it.
