Empires of Legend?

I may have missed the announcement, but are there any plans to release the MRQII Empires book for Legend?

It was an excellent piece of work and I would love to see a new version.

Has anyone used the RQII Empires rules set in their world? I tried statting up a continent : provinces of the Empire and some nearby Barbarian territories. That was a fun exercise. However, when I tried to simulate a Barbarian invasion or the proto-Empire's expansion, I got bogged down and confused.

Empires was a good read but playing through it was tough, and eventually I set it aside.
