Hi all,

Started this thread to let people chime in with where they're putting up for the weekend tournament next month.

Low Roller and I will be likely booking in to the Marriott, dearer than other hotels, but is spitting distance close to the Croft and has car parking and the price includes breakfast. All in all worth that little extra. I'll be booking it in the next day or so unless there's a massive consensus of people staying elsewhere.

So, where are you staying?

Me and a mate of mine are staying at the swindon central premier inn. I know its a couple of miles away, but with a car, I'm not that bothered. And not knowing swindon that well, and needing to get something booked lest we be staying on the streets, I decided to just go ahead and book it. Still 50 notes between two is not bad; if everyone else it stayin closer it either means I don't drink or I take my car back to the hotel and we get a taxi for drinkage purposes . . . . . my vote goes with the taxi option . . . . . . . . . . .

PS - Being a member of the UKG I'm always open to room share and sleeping on a chickens lip; hence why we are trying to save as many beer tokens as possible; not being high rollers and that.

Premier Inn isn't part of the Nectar scheme, and its partnered restaurant is a generic so I suspect that they aren't either.

I'm still looking into where to stay. Despite the employee discount I can get for staying at PI, I'm seriously considering paying a little extra to stay within walking distance of Croft.

Being within walking distance of boozers does come with inherant dangers; especially for the next day when your head is too bad for tactical gamage!

I'll be staying "T" total . . . . . . within reason . . . . . . . . for a centauri . . . . . :?

:D :D :D :D :D
