No, the picture was taken on the bed, but the mat is from Hotz mats. They make a variety of mats. I take this to the hobby shop for our campaign. Just threw it on the bed and snapped a few pics. Thanks for the comments. I put them on for an individual that had asked for some ideas on painting the drakh.

With acquiring the figs and painting probably 4 mos. Tha t is not what it took to paint them. They paint up fairly easily. The large ships have a feather striping done on them to give it a blended look, or at least an attempt to do that. The small ships are just tiger striped. Thanks

I have seen this fleet in person and 2 things:

1 Damn thats bigger than I thought.
2 They are very nicely painted and look great on the table.

i have a quick question for you. what brand and colors of paint did you use to paint them?

The tan color is a Model Master color, I can't think of the name of the color. I am work and when I get home I will look for the paint and let you know. The brown is from Vallejo, a dark brown.

Cool, thanks! Ive finally got my fleet almost all the way assembled. Its quite a big fleet. I dont have any of the new motherships or carriers yet, however, i do have 3 of each of the old models. Once i get it fully assembled, ill take some pics and post em. Now its on to painting them......

Here are a few bad pics of my fleet so far. This is only about a third of it. Most of it is sitting on a shelf at my friends house. I also still have 2 carriers, 2 motherships and 3 cruisers to put together still. And a few more raiders. Keep in mind, this is a work in progress. Ill try and take some pics with a better camera soon.

Thank you, this is my fifth fleet by the way. I am probably going to sell this one. I don't like the way they play. We are in a round robin tournament, after the tourney I will decide their fate.

Fitzbane the brown is from model masters and it is called lizard brown. Sorry it took so long for me get back to you.
