I have painted a fleet. I use Lizard Brown as the base color and then stripe using #4364 from Model Master acrylic colors. The name of the color has been rubbed off from the label. I believe it may be Sunburn Brown? not sure. My models I use a tiger stripe method. On the larger models I first use a thinned down wash to get the initial stripe. This should give you your stripes but leave the base color showing through. After that I work another layer of the same color on top of that, progressively more layers until I have the dark stripes. This makes the stripes look like they are blended. If I can get some pics taken, I will post these to let you have an idea of what they look like. The smaller ships are just striped. Nothing fancy. For the blue on the legs I use Vallejo Deep Sky Blue.
