I am kind of tempted to turn into a book. My version is called a Kraken Class SDB
2x50 ton Missle bays 2xTriple Beam lasers and a launch too, it's an ideal Patrol ship.

Do it! Be sure to add a dockable jump rig, for when interstellar trips are needed
Wait, make that two! One single-ship module, basically just jump engines and a docking clamp, and a larger multi-SDB carrying mothership in the vein of the Vulkan from Clement
