Hi guys first time posting here, I had a question with the free download plans from the core book. Take the subsidized merchant for example which I'm using for our campaign, I can't follow the grid scale. The staterooms are meant to be 4 dtons each but on the plan they are 6 squares each? I am missing something?

Per High Guard Update 2022 page 101:

Staterooms typically use six squares, despite them being four tons each – it is assumed that the extra tonnage goes into corridors and access areas.

I've got a copy of the 1st ed High Guard, can't see that there. (Soz Update, page p 83)

I don't have 1st edition, so I can't help you there. All I can do is share what it says now. The reasoning is likely unchanged.
