Might want to add a few details. What sort of maps are you looking for? We talking something like subsector maps, area maps, world maps, or what?

Check out the cartographer's guild, cartographersguild.com - lots of people who love making maps there, from rank amateurs like myself to industry professionals. They also have a forum for commissions, and quite a few of the forum members are willing to take on projects for free as well, if they like the ideas.

You might also consider using the software Auto-Realm. Last time I used it, many versions ago, it had problems with precision when zooming in on details, but it was still pretty functional.
