Dilgar Tactics

have to think about that...it may be a better balanced fleet.

But then again, I would have no ship with hull 6 in a battle lvl fight =)

so 5 point battle fleet:

4 Targraths
2 Garasoch
1 Tikrit
2 Jashakars Tea
2 Jashakar scouts
2 Ochlavita Ki

could work. Or then go the extrem:

1 Mankhat
4 Targraths
2 Jashakar Tea
2 Jashakar Scouts
2 Ochlavita Ki

...sit back and shoot missiles  There are like 20 AD, AP,TD range 28`, 42 AD, AP, DD range 24

that gives me 62 AD of missiles
And a hole lot of boltars =)...mostly range 10 though =(

The first of those lists seems solid. And I know you won't have hull 6, but when you consider the Garasoch has 48 hit points, the Targrath has 32 hit points and the Tikrit has 44 hit points, then you're still coming out with more durability than what the hull 6 Mankhat with its 54 hit points. More flexibility in firepower too, as well as more initiative control and more fighters which can turn around to be used as interceptors on the approach!

I agree with SylvrDragon, the first battle group looks better to me, but its up to your play style. Myself, since there are going to be no e-mines present, I would definitely take carriers with Thorun Torp fighters. That would be 20 AD of AP-DD, every turn(outside of AF range too).

On the other hand, there is no doubt the Mankhat has some mean offense capacity.

Two Garasoch, seems to be ok in 5 point battle yeah, they will come in handy against both EA and Vree, but I don´t know if I would want to have only Torpedofighters, since EA has those nasty Thunderbolts and Firebolts.

And yeah I would most likely field the Mishakur instead of a mankhat, that list was just an example of a "sit back and shoot" list =)

I think I´ll go without a War lvl ship in 5 point Battle, seems indeed to be a more solid list

Your choices look good with the models you have. For the skirmish, I might try buying up to 2 targraths and take 2 scouts. I say 2 scouts cause my opponents usually will take mine out early in the battle (and I roll bad). Or you could gamble and take 2 Targraths and 2 Jash-Taes and try for the CAF, but the Targraths might need to do a come about. One thing you might see against your opponents is quite a few fighters, especially the Vree at that level and too many Tae or Vis with No AF or other arcs, might have a hard time getting rid of them. But you know your opponents better then me. :)

Raid looks good, maybe another scout.

The battle level, I might dump the Mishakur and take the rest of your model fleet, especially the Tikrit. The Dilgar war levels are a bit on the fragile side, I take them in war level scenarios(or campaign games for lower priorities when I can't field anything else) but I normally do not buy up for one.

I'm hardly the master at fleet selection though :D

Make Omelos proud

Starting to think about using two Targratsh in 5 point skrimish...would give me firepower, combining them with 2 jashakars hmm..
